Doxey Marshes
This mornings venue was Doxey Marsh Stafford, I saw
Snipe, Teal, Greylag Geese, Canada Geese,
Shoveler, Mallard, Mute Swan, Reed Bunting, Tufted Duck, Coot, Wigeon,
Cormorant, Black-headed Gull, Lapwing, Blackbird, House Sparrow, Great Tit,
Robin, Goldfinch, Magpie, Goldeneye, Grey Heron, Goosander, Moorhen, Starling,
Lesser black-backed Gull, Fieldfare, Stonechat, Kestrel, Buzzard, Meadow Pipit, Wood Pigeon
and at least 1 Barnacle Goose.
After Lunch I went over to Wolseley Bridge SWT in the hope of seeing a Kingfisher. I saw -
Goosander, Mallard, Coot, Black-headed Gull, Mute Swan,
Blackbird, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Moorhen, Chaffinch, Wood Pigeon, Raven, Song
Thrush, Robin, Coal Tit, Magpie, Crow, Canada Geese and Goldfinch. But no views of a Kingfisher.
