Great Tit, Blue Tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Blackbird, Mallard, Mute Swan, Buzzard, Gadwall, Black Swan, Gadwall, Buzzard, Coot, Great crested Grebe, Crow, Common Tern, Cormorant, Osprey, Swallow, Shoveler, Canada Geese, Oystercatcher, Lapwing, Tufted Duck, Wood Pigeon, Rook, Grey Heron, Greylag Geese, Goosander, Lesser black-backed Gull, and House Martin.

Belvide 

Great spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Robin, Blackbird, Pheasant, Wood Pigeon, Great crested Grebe, Reed Warbler, Coot, Mallard, Goldfinch, Gadwall, Common Tern, Tufted Duck, Mute Swan, Canada Geese, Cormorant, Moorhen, Black-headed Gull, Sedge Warbler, Grey Heron, Lapwing, Crow, Reed Bunting, Tree Sparrow, Chaffinch, Oystercatcher, Kingfisher, Buzzard, Greenfinch, Magpie, Willow Warbler, Magpie, Bullfinch, Chiffchaff, Spotted Flycatcher also a Song Thrush was heard.

On a walk around the Razz today I saw - Starling, Blackbird, Grey Wagtail, Mallard, Coot, Mute Swan, Tufted Duck, Wood Pigeon, Moorhen, Crow, Common Tern, Willow Warbler, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Dunnock, Robin, Magpie, Long-tailed Tit, Black-headed Gull, Grey Heron, Great crested Grebe, Reed Bunting I also heard Chiffchaff, Reed Warbler and Song Thrush.

12/05/2014 Whisby Nature Reserve


Today a few of us met at Whisby to look for Nightingales we saw  Nightingale, Mediterranean Gull, Black-headed Gull, Canada Goose, Mute Swan, Oystercatcher, Wood Pigeon, Garden Warbler, Greylag Geese, Coot, Moorhen, Mallard, Chiffchaff, Long-tailed Tit, Robin, Magpie, Crow, Great crested Grebe, Blackcap, Tufted Duck, Gadwall, Common Whitethroat, Shoveler, Cormorant, Common Tern, Lesser black-backed Gull, Swift, Lapwing, Blue Tit, Pheasant, Jackdaw and Willow Warblers were heard.  I also saw a Stoat as it ran across the path in front of me.  

On a brief stop at Blithfield Causeway  I saw -2 Arctic Terns, 1 Sanderling, 1 Dunlin, Common Sandpiper, Oystercatcher, Common Tern and Pied Wagtail.

Common Tern, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Great crested Grebe, Velvet Scoter, Tufted Duck, Mute Swan, Cormorant, Pochard, Swift, Swallow, Canada Geese, Reed Warbler, Common Sandpiper, Grey Heron, Gadwall, Black-headed Gull, Sedge Warbler, Red legged Partridge, Robin, Blue Tit, Oystercatcher, Reed Bunting, Lapwing, Dunlin, Pheasant, Chaffinch, Tree Sparrow, Shelduck, Little ringed Plover, Great Tit, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Pied Wagtail, Shoveler, Teal, Lesser black-backed Gull, Long-tailed Tit, Blackbird, Song Thrush and Willow Tit.

Common Whitethroat, Reed Bunting, Canada Geese, Mallard, Great crested Grebe, Cormorant, Grey Heron, Coot, Wood Pigeon, Sparrowhawk, Crow, Swallow, Chaffinch, Mute Swan, Common Tern, Oystercatcher, Black-headed Gull, Pied Wagtail, Great Tit, Kestrel, Wheatear, Sedge Warbler and Reed Warbler, Garden Warbler and Blackcap were heard.

Grey Partridge, Buzzard, Swift, Kestrel, Stock Dove, Linnet, Skylark, Redshank, Common Tern, Greylag Geese, Lapwing, Canada Geese, Coot, Linnet, Blackbird and Dunnock.  

 Cannock Chase

 Wood Warbler, Chaffinch and Robin.

Around the Raz today there was - House Sparrow, Crow, Starling, Magpie, Great Tit, Great spotted Woodpecker, Blackbird, Robin, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Blue Tit, Wood Pigeon, Tree Creeper, Blackcap, Canada Geese, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Mute Swan, Tufted Duck, Black-headed Gull, Dunnock, Herring Gull, Green Woodpecker, Pheasant, Chaffinch, Swallow, Wren, Song Thrush, Long tailed Tit and Willow Tit.

On a short walk around the Raz today I saw - House Sparrow, Great Tit, Blackbird, Wood Pigeon, Magpie, Blue Tit, Buzzard, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Tufted Duck, Mute Swan, Grey Heron, Willow Warbler, Rook, Crow, Jay, Long-tailed Tit I also heard a Great spotted Woodpecker and a few Chiffchaffs.
