Today a few of us met at Whisby to look for Nightingales we saw Nightingale, Mediterranean Gull, Black-headed Gull, Canada
Goose, Mute Swan, Oystercatcher, Wood Pigeon, Garden Warbler, Greylag Geese,
Coot, Moorhen, Mallard, Chiffchaff, Long-tailed Tit, Robin, Magpie, Crow, Great
crested Grebe, Blackcap, Tufted Duck, Gadwall, Common Whitethroat, Shoveler,
Cormorant, Common Tern, Lesser black-backed Gull, Swift, Lapwing, Blue Tit,
Pheasant, Jackdaw and Willow Warblers were heard. I also saw a Stoat as it ran across the path in front of me.
On a brief stop at Blithfield Causeway I saw -2 Arctic Terns, 1 Sanderling, 1 Dunlin, Common
Sandpiper, Oystercatcher, Common Tern and Pied Wagtail.
