Cromford
This morning we all met at Cromford in search of Dipper and
Hawfinch, I saw -
Redwing, Mistle Thrush, Jackdaw, Crow, Magpie, Blue Tit,
Great Tit, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Mallard, Moorhen, Grey Wagtail, Wood Pigeon,
Blackbird and after the meeting had finished my mate and I saw 1 Hawfinch, Thanks to a fellow birder who drew our attention to it!
Carsington Water
In the afternoon I went over to Carsington and saw-
Pochard, Tufted Duck, Redshank, Lapwing, Oystercatcher,
Jackdaw, Crow, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Coot, Moorhen, Cormorant, Black-headed
Gull, Lesser black-backed Gull, Goldeneye, Great crested Grebe, Mallard,
Pheasant, Snipe, Long-tailed Tit, Tree Sparrow, Gadwall, Starling, Wren, Coal
Tit, Chaffinch, Reed Bunting, House Sparrow, Great Tit, Blue Tit and Buzzard.
