As there were reports
of a flock of Waxwings not far from home and it had stopped snowing I
went over to have a look. When I arrived there was no sign of them
but I did see
Starling, Sparrowhawk, Greenfinch, Black-headed Gull,
Wood Pigeon, Magpie and then the
Waxwing flock returned. Which made the standing around in the freezing cold was worth it.
