Cannock Chase
On a cool, dull & windy mornings walk around the Cadet
Hut & Penkridge Bank areas I saw Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Buzzard,
Chaffinch, Tree Pipit, Crow, Siskin, Redpoll, Green Woodpecker, Great Tit, Blue
Tit, Bullfinch, Coal Tit, Nuthatch, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Dunnock, Jay,
Greenfinch, Jackdaw, Blackbird, Stock Dove, Pheasant and Long-tailed Tit.
In the afternoon at Blithfield I saw
Chiffchaff, Mallard, Coot, Gadwall, Mute Swan, House Martin,
Swallow, Sand Martin, Great crested Grebe, Linnet, Shelduck, Pied Wagtail and
Wheatear.
