The days birding got off to good start for me with a year tick of a Red Kite, I also saw- Osprey,
Little Egret, Coot, Mallard, Black-headed Gull, Lapwing, Great
crested Grebe, Green Sandpiper, Mute Swan, Cormorant, Oystercatcher,
Tufted Duck, Greylag Geese, Egyptian Geese, Ruff, Grey Heron, Common Tern, House Martin, Pochard,
Moorhen, Canada Geese, Swallow, Ringed Plover, Little Ringed Plover,
Dunlin, Herring Gull, Lesser black-backed Gull, Teal, Shoveler,
Common Sandpiper, Snipe, Buzzard, Blue Tit, Tree Sparrow,
Chaffinch, Pied Wagtail, Wood Pigeon, Great Spotted
Woodpecker, Crow and Starling.
