As it was a nice day my mate and I went birding, our first stop was at Upper Longdon where we saw - a Raven and the Great grey
Shrike.
Then it was on to Blithfield where we saw -
Blue Tit, Great Tit,
Robin, Long-tailed Tit, Nuthatch, Chaffinch, Jackdaw, Pheasant, Crow,
Tufted Duck, Great-crested Grebe, Wigeon, Mallard, Goldeneye, 1
Pintail, Coot, Moorhen, Lapwing, Pochard, Shoveler, Grey Heron,
Buzzard, Teal, Goldfinch, Grey Wagtail, Pied Wagtail, Cormorant,
Canada Geese, Greylag Geese, Mute Swan, Raven, Wood Pigeon, Magpie
also a Tawny Owl was calling.
On the way home we made a short stop at Cannock Chase and saw - Chaffinch, Coal Tit, Jackdaw, Blue Tit, Yellowhammer, Bullfinch, Treecreeper, Robin, Magpie, Dunnock, Greenfinch and Blackbird.
