Around the Raz today I saw - Great Tit, Blue Tit, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Crow, Buzzard, Cormorant, Black-headed Gull, Blackbird, Willow Tit, Moorhen, Robin, Mute Swan, Canada Goose, Mallard, Tufted Duck, Coot, 2 male Goosanders, Starlings, Grey Heron and just I was coming to the end of my walk a small flock of Goldcrests appeared.

Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Nuthatch, Coal Tit, Robin, Dunnock, Pheasant, Greylag Geese, Tufted Duck, Pochard, Mallard, Grey Heron, Coot, Moorhen, Wigeon, Lapwing, Goosander, Canada Geese, Cormorant, Goldeneye, Teal, Crow, Black-headed Gull, Great crested Grebe, long-tailed Tit, Sparrowhawk, Rook, Magpie, Starling, Jackdaw, Herring Gull, Blackbird and Buzzard.

 

Cannock Chase

In the afternoon a brief visit to the Penkridge Bank and Freda’s Grave Car parks Freda produced - Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coal Tit, Blackbird, Greenfinch, Yellowhammer, Redwing, Fieldfare, Pheasant, Goldfinch, Jackdaw, Crow, Magpie, Wood pigeon, Collared Dove, Robin and Dunnock

On a cold and frosty mornings walk around the reservoir I saw - Goldcrest, Blackbird, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Dunnock, Green Woodpecker, Wood Pigeon, Mute Swan, Tufted Duck, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Black-headed Gull, Herring Gull, Canada Goose, Buzzard, Wren, Long-tailed Tit, Chaffinch, Great spotted Woodpecker, Crow, Magpie and Starling.

On a damp and misty morning's walk I saw-

Blue Tit, Great Tit, Jay, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Blackbird, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Mute Swan, Canada Goose, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Grey Heron, 100+ Black-headed Gull, Robin, Wren, Long-tailed Tit, House Sparrow, Crow and Starling.

Tufted Duck, Mute Swan, Coot, Moorhen, Canada Geese, Teal, Mallard, Cormorant, Black-headed Gull, Snipe, Gadwall, Shoveler, Lapwing, Pochard, Goldeneye, Great crested Grebe, Lesser black-backed Gull, Water Rail, Goosander, Pintail, Little Grebe, Wigeon, Greylag Geese, Egyptian Geese, Starling, Long-tailed Tit, Wood Pigeon, Magpie, Blackbird, Chaffinch, Robin, Dunnock, Tree Sparrow, Greenfinch and Great Tit.

Canada Geese, Greylag Geese, Wigeon, Teal, Lapwing, Goosander, Mallard, Ringed Plover, Pied Wagtail, Buzzard, Grey Heron, Meadow Pipit, Snow Goose, Starling, Black-headed Gull, Great crested Grebe, Shoveler, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Kestrel, Wren, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Chaffinch, Cormorant, Golden Plover, Dunlin, Magpie, Crow, Rook, Common Gull, Coal Tit, Nuthatch, Pheasant, Tufted Duck, and Wood Pigeon.  

Cannock Chase 

Blue Tit, Great Tit, Bullfinch, Crow, Greenfinch, Redwing, Treecreeper, Coal Tit, Yellowhammer and several Jays.

On a walk around the Raz today the first birds I saw were a flock of Goldcrests, I also saw Mallard, 1 Canada Goose, Black-headed Gull, Mute Swan, Moorhen, Coot, Chaffinch, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Robin, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Starling, Tufted Duck, Blackbird, Crow, Goldfinch, Willow Tit, Great spotted Woodpecker, Wren and House Sparrow.
