Tit, Long-tailed Duck, Teal, Grey Heron, Shoveler, Reed Bunting, Tree Sparrow,
Lapwing, Lesser black-backed Gull, Pheasant, Oystercatcher, Cormorant, Crow,
Little ringed Plover, Swallow, Blackbird, Moorhen, Chaffinch, Redshank,
Greenfinch, Willow Tit, Wren, Treecreeper, Wood Pigeon, Blackcap, Rook and 3
new year ticks for me Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler and Common Tern.

This morning around the Raz there were -

Wren, Chiffchaff, Bullfinch, Wood Pigeon, Willow Warbler, Crow, Magpie, Canada
Geese, Moorhen, Mallard, Chaffinch, Green Woodpecker, Tufted Duck, Coot, Mute
Swan, Grey Heron, Great spotted Woodpecker and a Willow Tit.

Today a few of us went to Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve these are my sightings.

Plover, Lapwing, Sand Martin, Shoveler, Pied Wagtail, Green Sandpiper, Teal,
Moorhen, Oystercatcher, Gadwall, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Cormorant, Lesser
black-backed Gull, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Dunnock, Robin, Blackcap, Little
Grebe, Crow, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Buzzard, Grey Heron, Great spotted
Woodpecker and Chaffinch.
Ladywalk we visited here on the way back home and I saw-
Shoveler, Gadwall, Mallard, Coot, Canada Geese, Great
crested Grebe, Tufted Duck, Goosander, Little ringed Plover, Wigeon, Shelduck,
Mute Swan, Cormorant, Little Grebe, Oystercatcher, Wood Pigeon, Moorhen,
Redshank, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Robin, Wren, Long tailed Tit, Goldfinch,
Chaffinch, Black-headed Gull, Crow, Magpie and Blackbird.

Blackcap, Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Goldfinch, Crow,
Pheasant, Pied wagtail, Coot, Mallard, Great crested Grebe, Greylag Geese,
Canada Geese, Shelduck, Blackbird, Little ringed Plover, Buzzard, Magpie, Wood
Pigeon, Mute Swan, Crow, Tufted Duck and an Osprey battling against the wind
and rain much as we were, until we reached a hide where we waited for the rain
to ease off, but we did get a good view of a pair of Common Scoter.

Today I saw - Green Woodpecker, Chiffchaff, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Robin,
Great spotted Woodpecker, Tufted Duck, Mute Swan, Moorhen, Coot, Mallard,
Canada Geese, Great crested Grebe, Black-headed Gull, Chaffinch, Blackbird,
Wren, House Sparrow and several Blackcaps were singing.

Cannock Chase
On a short stop at Penkridge Bank CP I saw Brambling,
Bullfinch and Stock Dove.
A large flock of Golden Plover were in the fields on the
drive home.
